We have a very experienced staff that's been with us for many years.  However, from time to time we need some help.

Starting in the late spring through early summer is when we need part- and full-time help in the greenhouses, plant nursery, and in our store.  Friendly and prompt customer service, some knowledge about growing things, the ability to ask for help when you don't know an answer, and a good work ethic are what we're looking for.  Hours are variable as are the job duties but may involve evenings and some weekends.  The most important attributes to bring are a positive attitude, an ability to work unsupervised, and a desire to have fun!

We do hire 14 year olds, BUT we do want the kid to do the picking up and dropping off the job application, not mom or dad.  We believe there is a lot to learn from one's first job and being responsible for actually getting the application is step one.
